Typically 30–60 minutes for a locksmith or handyman. The F8 fits most U.S. single-cylinder door preps and is battery powered—no wiring.

The built-in 4200mAh lithium battery lasts around 3–4 months per charge, depending on usage.
The lock sends a low-battery notification through the screen and the Tuya App, so you’ll always have time to recharge before it runs out.

No — you can still unlock the door using the mechanical key included with the lock.
You can also connect a portable power bank via the USB emergency port to power it temporarily and unlock using your normal method.
